Sistah Vincenza Maria Theresea Generosa Bastiglione

She’s better known as Sistah Vinnie, the New York Nun, lover of mozzerel’, Jesus, and Sting.

Ever since his Holiness Pope Benedict XVI gave his blessing to social media in January of 2011, Sistah Vinnie has been a true trail blazer for the good word in all social media outlets.

So sign up to become a Sistah Vinnie fan on FaceBook here and follow her on Twitter here - you won’t regret it and it might even be a good idea, if you know what I mean…she’s got some pretty powerful connections both on earth AND in the great beyond (wink, wink).

Lucinda and her scrapbookin’

Lucinda is from the Bronx.  She grew up in the ’80′s and saw some rough stuff up there so instead of going to see some psychiatrist or something, she just scrapbooks…and scrapbooks…and scrapbooks some more.  Name a major life event (quinceañeras, births, funerals) or holiday (Puerto Rican Day, Halloween, Martin Luther King Jr. Day) and Lucinda has either scrapbooked about it herself or helped someone else work through those tough times by working it out on the page.

Her grandmother has been her biggest influence and is still providing advice on how to navigate life’s twists and turns – but Lucinda still scrapbooks all dat shi’ out.

You can check her out on BronxNet 70 (Cablevision’s public access channel in the Bronx) but only if you live in the Bronx, otherwise just catch her here.
